Profile review

How we read your LinkedIn and XING before we rewrite a word

A transparent walkthrough of the review used in our employment consulting work — so you know what happens between intake and draft.

Intake and target roles

You send both profile URLs (or screenshots), three roles you would accept, preferred cities or remote setup, and language requirements. We confirm whether German recruiters in your field lean on XING, LinkedIn, or both.

Ten-second scan

We capture the preview card: name, headline, location, current title. If that slice would not earn a click from a Personalvermittler screening an Auftrag, we mark it before touching deeper sections.

Section-by-section notes

About / Über mich, featured experience, skills signals, and photo or banner issues get written notes. We flag keyword gaps against your named target roles — not against a generic industry list.

Recommendation fork

You receive a clear recommendation: audit-only fixes you can make yourself, a headline intensive, or the full LinkedIn & XING rewrite. No pressure to buy the largest package when a lighter pass solves the problem.

What you prepare

  • Target role titles in German and English if both matter
  • Any recruiter feedback that mentioned fit or clarity
  • Notice of private vs public profile settings
  • Preference for remote sessions or Hamburg in-person

What we never do in a review

  • Promise interview volume or “visibility scores”
  • Rewrite without your approval on factual claims
  • Ignore XING when your field still uses it
